We identify cost saving opportunities, by liaising with areas, such as supply chain, retail or HR. And we protect the business, through astute terms and conditions, risk mitigation and dispute resolution.
The difference we make
We’re the cost conscience of wilko. Our driven, focused and passionate people pull together to hit targets by making sure that the wider wilko business spends its budgets wisely and with respect. And, with a GNFR budget of £200m, that’s not an easy task. But it’s one we love!
Now that’s interesting
As well as saving the business money, we also improve wilko’s cash flow. By extending payment terms with suppliers, money stays in the wilko account for longer and generates more interest for the business. This in turn, enables us to do more good stuff with it – for each other and the hard-working families we look after.
