At wilko, we love nothing more than supporting the development of our team members. That’s why we’re committed to providing learning and development opportunities that allow you to be the best you can be. This may be through your own personal growth, or it could be through building skills that lead to even more exciting career opportunities with us.
Our apprenticeships are available to all our team members on a permanent contract of 16 hours or more, across all our retail stores, distribution centres and our support centre.
These industry-recognised, role-relevant training programmes are one of the best ways you can develop your career while earning, too! They’ll provide you with the support you need to gain all the essential skills, knowledge and behaviours to progress to the next level.
We’re happy to support apprenticeships relevant to any role, if you can’t find what you’re looking for, just ask!
Why should you apply for one of our apprenticeships?
1 – Develop your knowledge, skills and behaviours
2 – Earn as you learn – we’ll fund your apprenticeship training (and not on an ‘apprentice’ wage) because, here at wilko, we always want to do everything we can to support you and your families!
3 – Achieve a nationally recognised apprenticeship
4 – Enjoy something completely different to school and college days by using a variety of learning materials to support your development
5 – Maximise your opportunities to progress by demonstrating how committed you are to personal development
